relay issue?

Hi Guys,
So my dash lights for indicators have never worked, well when i indicate they flash once or if hazards are one the same..one flash

the actual indicators work fine and all in new,well earthed housings.

advice please

Yes just did that.. as i was wiggling the wires on the relay I've lost all 'blinking'.. nothing now no indicators
so i guess it wants replacing??

this is the bugger



easy to get or not.. modern equivalent?? any way to check its faulty?

anyone help with this

i replaced one

is was the same as you one

i buyed from ah schofield the part number was 211 953 215 C

i needed 211 953 215 A

but found the (C) worked great

the (C) had one more connection post than the original (A) , but this was a ground connector
as the original ground through the centre with the fixing bolt

it costed 8.50 pounds plus posting it was cheapest i could find it has been working great
for ouer a year now

I've just ordered one hopefully that will fix the situation.. at £8.50 well worth a try

if you get stuck

i will take photograph off mine and email too you

or get a diagram off the wiring i did and email that to you

i could get original relay but price was 55 pounds

and this was alot off money too pay

Thanks for your help with that Karl,
That relay did work for me although I did have to loop terminal 49a to KBl to get the 'tell tales' to flash but seems to work perfectly.
