i need to remove (grind off) my rear bump stops for an MOT, i was going to get slamwerks to do it, but they can't fit me in till the end of april and i want to go to bustypes so i'm going to do it myself   any tips or things i need to watch out for ? has anyone done it or got any pictures, that would be a great help. Do i need to remove the spring plates ?

Ash, if you've gone that low then you could remove the stops but I'd be more concerned about the spring plates -do you have say slamwerks 'radiused' plates or no travel?

Also if you cut the bump stop brackets (ones that are welded to chassis rails) then same as any other cutting, just be careful and take your time
