Hiya, mines a 1970 UK RHD panel. Mine has got brackets on the torsion tube too. So mine exits the side of the chassis rail, then goes through the out rigger and the end finishes up almost plumb vertically with the rear of the torsion tube within 10mm.

I found this online subsiquently which seems to be a pretty good reference for the underside, if anyone spots anything incorrect for a '68 let me know as this is what we're going to use as the reference..
That's a later chassis, '68 buses have longer handbrake cables because the tubes are shorter than later buses.

Cool thanks. I was assuming there were only two variations, the early's with the extra set of out riggers behind the rear jacking points and the later type were these were omitted, but sounds like there were perhaps a couple more variations...?
