Wing mirror broke away from fitting today so need to replace.
I am conscious I do not want to damage paintwork. Is this a simple job. Does it just unscrew?
Any tips? Tools advice?
Thanks

Yes it just screws into a captive nut within the door. As long as the captive nut is ok its an a
easy replacement.

Like Clem said I think it's a 17mm spanner , the new mirror might have a white plastic washer, be careful not to over tighten it.

Nice user name one after my oWn heart :D

Thank you.

The replacement came from JK today so will get it changed this weekend.

I noticed that the washer did not fit on the current one.
