Reversing lights

I have a 72 crossover (large rear lights) there seems to be no wiring for reversing lights.
Do I need them for the mot?

Not part of the mot so no need to worry 8)

Easy to get working though. You can buy a cheap kit from Just Kampers and it reasonably easy to fit.

I had this problem and studied the wiring diagram, it seems a wire just runs from the +ve side of the coil through the reverse switch and back to the rear lights seperate to the main wiring loom so i just made up my own and stuck a fuse in line.
