I was just about to adjust my tappet clearance, popped the spring off the rocker cover and nothing moved. I pulled it a bit harder then realized that the covers have breathers coming out of the top and there's no room to pull the covers off as the breather hose attachment prevents the cover from moving outward. Hopefully the photo shows this.....

So question is do I pull it harder and pull some of the breather hose through, not sure if that's possible, or should I unscrew the pipe from the top of the cover? If I do this will loads of oil come out?
[Edit] actually thinking about it, I'd be surprised if there was any oil in the pipes, so I guess I'd have to remove the breathers first.

Don't seem to be able to find a YouTube vid on this scenario.

Looks like there's a jubilee clip holding the hose on, so just pop that off.
The rocker covers don't tend to just fall off once they've been seated for a while as the gasket and oil sort of glue it on (for want of a better description). However a tap with a mallet should knock them loose.
