[*]just a couple of line to show you what we have been upto since buying our campermobile in January from Hubcap...
We wanted to get into something different so the camper seemed to be the best chance of doing this. I looked for a mainly solid example as I am no good with the welder. We just didnt expect to buy teh first bus that we looked at !

So with money in hand we trundled futher down the coast to sunny Bognor and comlected this bus which seemed to be all we could have wanted for a basic project a bit of paint and camping here we come.

But silly me changed the exhaust and the oil and not knowing to much about aircooled put the wrong oil in the engine and ran it for 5 miles, he didnt like it so he spant most of it out ! Unhappy with minisule HP plan B had to evolve. Well some months down the line and we have a new 1776cc on order with the engine builder. Now for the paint. We both like shiny so off to be painted . Here are some pictures to show to what extend we are going to. A couple of weekends and the bus was gutted and awaiting delivered to the local bodyshop.

Rocky wasnt going with out a fight ! So I call for re-enforcments!

The Tin , Firewall and cross member are at the powder coaters and will be back Friday, Can,t wait!

We will be keeping the original colours so it should look really fresh in a few weeks.

Just wait for a 45 degree angle for the lower full flow outlet.

Twin ICT and ceramic header and stainless exhaust to go on and at least we should get home after a good day out at the beech!

Here is an update on our Camper, I have finally got the correct fittings and the oil lines and so I can crack on a bit further with the engine build.

Rocky has been getting near completion to and goes into paint next week, all the panels have been corrected and the roof has been repaired where it was cracked. It shouldn’t be to long now before I have to start reassembly.

Unfortunately I have had to change my plans regarding the Ebbers that I have so I will be looking to get another type of heater in a couple of months time after I have sold mine.
I have had to fill the holes up so these can be painted over.

The next update should be in about 7 days time...This time painted and back at home!

Looking good Pete, let me know when it's home, me and Rach will pop down for a cuppa.

The engine looks bling-tastic 8)
Although, the exhaust looks to be in the way of the inlet for the HX??

Yes I was looking at that, I am going to look at a method to fix the inlet for the H/E that clamps on to the pipe and allows the silver type trunking to connect both header exhaust pipe and inlet of the H/E.
