Roof racks available - just a bit different from the norm

if you went to the Volksworld show and wandered about upstairs, you may have seen a liitle stand with a mad crazy chain roorack on display.

if you did like 98.7% of people and took a double take, you may have also spotted a couple of 2 bow racks - 1 ratlook and 1 white, and a silver full length 6 bow monster.

well, all these racks and many more are available to order as of now.

DESIGN21 will custom fabricate a roofrack or a pair of board bars in fully welded mild steel, supplied bare metal, rusted / lacquered or fully powder coated to a huge range of colours.

we offer a range of "modular" sizes, from 2 bow to 6 bow at set prices, or if you fancy something non-standard, an odd size, or any variation at all, drop us a line and we'll give you a price. (as an example - we are currently pricing a 6 bow rack with a removeable section so a sunroof can still be used)

heres a pic of a couple of the prototypes - a 3 bow white powder coated and a 4 bow ratlook

the main difference now is the original "lats" were open ended with plastic bungs....they're now have fully welded ends so they're powder coated all over

will try and get some more pics up this week - especially the chain rack - its insane - and a modular price list

oh - and the first pic shows a 2 bow "scroll top" rack

May well be interested in the 6 bow for the bay especially if you're doing the open slatted option for sunroofs/rags. Whats the price for this in a grey powdercoat?

we're marketing is as display purposes only - however - over the weekend of the volksworld show, this very rack had various northerners standing about on it to prove it will carry some weight

prices for these are - £200 for the two bow as shown or £300 for the 3 bow - numbers will be strictly limited to 50 of each

this particular one has had a clear powder coat finish applied as the customer didnt want any further rusting - price for a 2 bow is £155 with the coating, however, if you wanted in uncoated, a discount would be offered (TBC)

the above prices are based on our modular rack - utilising 16 luggage lats and a fenced top. As everything is hand made - any variation can be accomodated - less luggage lats, no fenced top, non-standard lat lengths - you name it - we can do it

All racks are fully wleded construction with fully welded tube ends.
Plain metal racks are cleaned and de-greased before delivery.
Powder coating is available in a vast range of colours - ask for details.
Rat look racks are clear powder coated to ensure no further rusting.
Chain racks are designed for display purposes only - while they are capable of carrying weight, DESIGN21 cannot be held responsible for damage caused through over-loading.
All racks will be supplied with neoprene lining to the feet and gutter clamps to avoid damage to paint work.
