Hi all,

I have standard 1600 tp which is running a bit lean and as such over heats a bit, question is how do Iadjust the carb to make it run richer?

That is a question with many answers... firstly, how have you determined it is running lean?

I use a Gunson CO meter, which you should be able to pick up second hand for about £50. Set it to 2-4% CO and you know it's bang on.

For the process, see here:

Don't forget to set your timing, dwell and valves first, or your carb settings may well be nonsense.
