I'm looking to stick a seat belt in the rear of my bus and I'm wondering if I can use the old spare wheel mount ( welded to the side ) to mount the 3rd point or am I better just fitting a lap belt ??

Cheers
Lee

If yours is a bus and not a panel conversion there should be a mount point on the back below the window its a bit low for the inertia type to work properly but there was a bracket available They are rarer than rocking horse poo but the bracket available raised the mounting point up so an inertia belt could be used , I made my own

You only need the bracket if you've got a Westy bed.
