Should my 70 US bay have an "Ignition Key Warning Buzzer" ?

That is to say, it does according to the wiring diagrams. Anyone else got one of these exciting devices? Its a deluxe microbus by the way, if that makes any difference.

Just to clarify, does it come on when ignition switch is in on position without engine running, or does it perform some other function?
I ask because in wiring diagrams its connected to door light switches...

Think that's it, key on, not running, door open.

On the 71-up busses, the buzzer is a little relay box on the connection bar behind/under the fuse box - not sure about the '70 setup. The buzzer
sounds with the key inserted only (the key does not have to be turned to the running position) and the driver-side door open. It's powered from terminal S or SU on the ignition switch. The Bentley manual wiring diagrams are incorrect for the years 1970 thru 1975, since they show the buzzer being powered
from a constant-hot area on the fuse box.
 
The buzzer on a 70 is plugged in to the bottom of the fuse box.
