Show me your Stench pipe

Can anyone show me how the stench pipe connects to the sink unit. I've got the stench pipe. I seem to be missing some of the pipes in the sink unit.

It screws into the pipe work that comes under the metal sink top, you may have UK spec pipe that doesn't have the stench pipe
