Hello, just tried to open my side door on my van, and nothing. I have taken off the door card and had a good look at the mechanism , taken the mech off in the middle (back) and given it a good clean/lube re fitted and still nothing . The only way to open the door is from the inside by just giving the lower cable a tug. I am thinking that this cable is stretched and hat is why he handle does not work but cannot find a way to take up a little slack in the cable OR any new cables anywhere on my usual spare parts sites. I have had this issue before but after a little tinkering managed to repair but not this time.mhas any one got any ideas??
