I might be missing something obvious here but I have a stock height 71' Westfalia Tin Top which currently sits at circa 193-195cm load dependant (dizzing heights I know). The problem is I'm moving house and the new garage only has a opening of 190cm including the door fixing etc.... is there any way without letting my tyres down you can simply lower the bus by 5cm / 2" without replacing the front beam and too much messing about? Any advice barring a new roller garage door or not moving would be much appreciated! :?:

hi

I lowered my bus my 2" I had a company called Kens Kustoms do it for me they cut and turned the beam

no need to remove it from the bus, a mornings work it cost less around £180 I think

before

after

Yes, a simple beam adjustment will do the trick, or dropped spindles.

Dropped spindles in front, horse shoe plates in the back.

Easy bolt on easy bolf off.
