Long time, no post! Trying to get motivated to make some new progress on the bus, so I shall revitalize this thread
I still have the bus, nothing too new. Did some camping, some cruising, some neglecting, some fixing, etc. Specs are still the same, 4" kp beam, flipped spindles, front and rear notches, too big and too ugly front tubs.... all things on the re-do list. I've been working on my fab skills and apprenticing at a shop here called Demon Motorsports, so its time to put some of those new skills to work. If you dont know of Demon Motorsports already, check us out! We have full hydraulic suspension kits for type 1 vw's and split buses. My bus will be the test mule for the early bay kit!! 8) 8) Link to our FB page

anyway, some pics to get things moving:
Part of the reason for my hiatus, I got a bit obsessed with building a little bit of everything hahaha. even picked up a sweet lowrider for a little while! But I'm looking to purchase a house, so all the other toys are sold and i can focus on the bus.
my el camino with ryan's(demon motorsports owner) bus. His bus has the hydraulic setup.
Anyway, so the to-do list is a bit lengthy, but worth it.
Sheet metal work (front floor, window seal areas, rockers, etc)
Full hydraulic suspension kit 8) 8) 8)
Beetle irs trans swap and maybe a slight raise (eliminating the mustache bar in the process)
All new interior- full width rear bed, custom upper full size bed, front seats are up in the air, depends if i re-make the tubs. kinda want a swivel
front passenger seat.
Full rear c-notches instead of the mini tube notch
probably other stuff to do......
anyway, wish me luck and post motivational things so I can get my ass to work!
