now to do it one more time on the other side......

they are some giant tubs 8)
you planning on running huge tyres up front?

Looking forward to see the box raise I need to do mine. But I got distracted by big engines

LOL i need to do my Type 1 trans swap with eng./tranny raise first so I can level it out more. Once the rear is more in the weeds I'll get the box raise done.

so a test drive reveals that I should probably shorten my center pin lol. It hits fairly often! Its about 3/4" off the ground. Has anyone done a center pin raise/shortening? Pics/details?

pretty sure i hit the steering arm more than the centre pin.
will have a look underneath later if its dry can't remember if mine is raised? not shortened though

my beam is a tad strange I think, but center pin deff. hits first for me. Its at about 3/4" but pitman arm is at like 2"

Here's some pics of this weekends camping adventure/vw show. drank moon shine, raced mini bikes, pushed down trees, and I only got the bus stuck once!

Looking f**king awesome dude

Ok I checked my centre pin. It's pretty much the same level as the pitman arm on the bus.
And turns out I hit it more than I though it's battered ha ha

Bus looks great and looking at the weather its just like here in East Anglia....... NOT

It did rain a bit on Saturday, but my buddies bus has an awning so we stayed dry. ish.

OK, now to get motivated to do that center pin raise!

East anglia is weter than Otters pocket :x
Stanford off...Wicksteed on!!! :( :D

I Got family in Columbus Ohio. They get a mixture of weather, extreme winters and v-hot summers!!

Love your new pics.... 8)

louis what seats have you got in and have you had to adapt them much as those tubs look high
not that it matters cos its still f***ing awsome

mark oh to be low

I dont have the seats figured out yet, Ive been riding around with a mexican blanket right on top of the tub lol. I'll be sure to post pics once I get it all situated!

Progress has been slow on the bus, but a new ride has joined the stable!

'56 oval rag with some sweet OG logo's from a FL. aviation company! The car came with an extra pan and running 36hp and split case trans. Pics are after I swapped pans and have the drivers side heater channel half done. Picked this up as a fun project to learn some sheet metal work and fab skills, should be sweet when done! Going air ride up fronts, crazy low out back with some "helper" air shocks, 2" trans raise, 6" narrowed beam, and a bunch of other stuff I'll have to make along the way!
