sliding door differences - I never knew that!!!

The trimmer phoned up to get some bare door cards for my 69 the other day and was told that on the early bays the bottom of the inside door pressings, there are differences.. apparently,the recess into which the door card sits are 'more rounded' & others 'more squarer'. I've never even noticed - did you know that ?

need to find which one mine is now!!.Think my slider is from a '71 :? anyone know what year this change took place?

i think id be right in saying if the lock is in the door its late if in the handle its early.not aware of any cross over door thats different

Thanks strongy! I've found out from werksberg (The chap from USA who makes those ABS door panels) that there is a difference between 68-70 & 71 >
so check door cards on the slider if buying,as I say ...I never even noticed!!
