Sliding door handles question?

are LHD bus sliding door handles the same as RHD bus door handles - as in are they 'handed'?

so if I had a 68 US import needing a sliding door handle [inner and outer] would UK ones fit?

anyone got one - mine have gone missing

thanks.........it would be good to know...I'm having trouble sourcing both from US from one location at least - there's inner's and outer's but few together

there is one on the samba, everytime I enquired he put the price up :shock:
