So I am asking for my for sale thread as it may help someone if they buy the hinge and want to replace the spring: http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=75661

Does anyone know how the spring which controls the latches is replaced in the main housing with the roller wheel / bearing:

It looks like the pin that holds the spring should punch through from the roller wheel side, but does anyone know for sure?

Thanks!

Yes that pin does get driven out with a pin punch, cant remember if the roller needs removing or not.
There's a small e- clip which needs removing first, this sits on top of one of the latches, between it and the body of the mechanism.
