Spark Plugs

Has anyone fitted "Autolinea CB 044" heads. If so what spark plugs have you used.

I have just bought a pair of these heads from Machine 7, they recommend "Ngk DP8EA-9" but I have heard that they may be too cold. My engine is 1776 with twin ICT carbs, so not a race machine by any imagination.

Any recommendations as I don't want to be having to remove spark plugs for cleaning once its all back together.

That's what we used in the drag beetle , cant remember what way the numbers go on NGK for heat range. It will be either a 7 or 9 as in DP7EA
