Morning all - I just moved up to Stockton from Cardiff. Having had the camper for 20 years this summer I haven’t a clue where to get some paint, rewire, rear seatbelts and a petrol heater installation. Nearest I can see is down in Halifax. Is there anyone else around these parts who is recommended? Thanks

If you’re on FB try posting on The North East VW club page as they’re based around Boro so should be able to keep you right.

There are a few specialists up here in the NE but obviously it’s best to go off recommendations.

How do, we are all around the Consett/Stanley/Chester le street area and have 2 clubs up here, Flat4dubs and Angel VW, have a look on Facebook for the pages.

Engine wise not sure, but Beamish Street repair in Stanley are great for bodywork, friend Darren runs it.
Plenty of us lot anyway for advice, the odd meet etc. Maybe a little far being Stockton but not sure whats down middlesborough.

There are loads of shows up here now too so a great way to meet everyone as the three local clubs tend to mingle and everyone knows everyone

Flat4 meet is first Wednesday of the month at a pub around Chester Le street or Durham, we try n go to a different pub every couple of months, but the Smiths arms is offering us free bait !!!!!!!!
