Speedo refurb question

The needle has snapped on my speedo,1970 grey face,I have a replacement needle coming but cannot work out how to get the centre bit off.
I have emailed 67bay as he is the only help I could find on a search-anyone out there want to pass on the knowledge?

Paul..This chap refurbed a trip speedo for me and corrected the mileage to match my original.
