I picked up a Hella relay at the bootsale today which I intend to use for a split-charge system - it's rated at 30Amps, will that be enough?
It has the markings I was after (terminals are 30, 85, 86, 87) can I use it?

;)

30A should be OK, i think i use a 40A but only because thats what i had lying around.
Think most self-switching relays are only rated about 15A anyway.

Fuse it on both sides to be safe.
Fuse from start battery to relay and fuse from relay to leisure battery, i have 20A fuses in mine so the 30A relay should be good enough
