Look good, be nice if they sold the bits individually as well.

Would it match the ally stuff?

What I really meant was if a piece got damaged would you be able to replace one piece or would you have to buy a complete set, something you cant do with the repro ally ones.
doubt if you could get away with mixing ally and stainless.

Some stainless bumper or grille trim would be nice

no, ally is much more matt

the shape of the trim looks a good match to the original though

I'd probably be interested in group buy too. i did email the chap and enquire about group purchase and he only appeared to willing reduced postage - i didn't mention the number of orders tho.

the stainless is 430 grade which it the usual automotive trim stainless so pretty high quality - this is one of the questions he did answer :)

ive also sent an email asking for a reduction in price and postage  if we were to bulk buy,no reply as yet but only sent it just after my last post.by the sounds of it ,it will be a no go.works out at about £200 wich seems a good price anyway, mabee if he deduces the postage and he will mark it up as a gift we would save that way???or if he wont ive got a family member over there he could post to, then they could mark it as gift(not spoke to them in a few years tho so would have to make sure there still alive )

il let you know how it goes.

I'm in too. I'm happy to help out too with the group buy. I just did one for fire extinguishers, plus my wife is american and we have a US bank account and contacts out there which could help.
the only thing would be drilling the body work to fit these....ouch!!!

allready got the alloy stuff on mine and its been hapily stuck on there for 3 years with trim refix tape ;)

Dude, tell me more about that tape stuff. What is that? Is that like carpet tape? I've not heard of it.

just refix tape, its used to stick alot of modern car moldings on ,can get it from all motorfactors,i saw some at action last year aswell.the key is geting the right thickness, the trim is holow so it needs to bridge the cap and touch both sides, mines been on a few years with no isues,if the trim your sticking on is not staight it could cause isues with lifting,

right got an email back today and the chap is requesting numbers to calculate a discount.

if you can add your name to the list il see what happens, please please only add your name if you are very serious in some trim, ive seen these lists in the past  ,the trim at present is£200 and im guessing shipping and tax would come to £100 tops so it aint going to end up any cheeper than £250 i wouldent have thought anyway.
