starter motor for a 1776? advice please....

Guys,

I'm having a 1776cc engine fitted to the van next week. I'm intending to replace the existing starter motor as it's a bit knackered and sounds like a sewing machine every time you turn it over.....

will a stock starter motor suffice or given the compression etc on the new engine will I need one with a bit more 'ooomph'.....?

any advice much appreciated peeps...

stock one should be fine, but its a great excuse to upgrade to a new powerful one 8) :wink:

Thanks for the replies guys, so glad you advised on a stock one as the uprated ones are £200 a shot... :shock:
