Im thinking of getting some twin carbs for my 1600 SP engine would anyone recomend staying with the SP or would i get better mpg and bhp going over to a TP set up?
just done that to mine ,ported twin ports and itc webers,started it up this afty and sounds gooood wont get round to road test till next weekend,still got stuff to sort ,will post results.
To be fair if your SP is running fine with good compression and end float then the extra cost of the heads outway the extra BHP IMO, also the SP heads are less prone to cracking.........deffinatly worth fitting twin carbs tho.........
