Stripping beam down help

Hi I'm in the process of cleaning up my front beam. I was thinking about removing the arms from the beam but was wondering if I need to mark them up first or do they only fit on in one position? Also are they under tension?

The trailing arms are different top and bottom, but can be fitted either end.
They're not under tension once the hubs are removed.
