If you don't want to put it up singlehandedly then the Khyham Driveaway XC is brilliant, and huge. :)

As sparky has said Kyhams are brilliant.
Have a look through here. http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=22998" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'll second that as I had one, had no probs with erecting it though it did take two of us due to size.

I'll second that, had no problems with erecting though there was two of us due to size.
Now have Kyham Motordome tourer which is smaller & better suited to our present requirements it is also excellent & has the quick erect system. :)

does the driveaway xc fit on a standard pitch? Looks huge!!!!

J.
We have the XC its is a large awning but we have never had a problem getting van and awning on a pitch with room to spare. It is a great bit of kit and gives you a nice living room area plus bedrooms. :D

Trying to decide between that and the outwell mountain road ( which is a lot smaller...)

Had the same decision and so happy with the XC 2 kids british summer the extra space was winner.

I too am like sparkywig and others we have the xc which is great,sewn in ground sheet loads of room for the kids on the wet days of your hols :? .But it does take two to errect and can be a pain if windy.I have bought the khyam motordome tourer for short breaks and having seen sparkywigs pics in the gallery of his khyam awning extension I think I will be buying one of those too,there`s always a compromise whichever you buy. :D

Big fan of Khyham (motordome sleeper) ... if ever replacing, it would be my first option

This is something I just toy with every now and then as I don`t even have an interior in yet :roll: But at the moment I sortof roll with an old gazebo on the side and various bits and pieces to keep the draught to a minimum. As they are peanuts to buy,,, I`ve been toying with the idea of two :shock: yes two gazebos down the side of the bus :roll: So the idea is,, wait for it, wait for it,, if I keep them a couple of feet apart, then I could have my washing machine drum almost indoors with my luvvvvverrrly fire init, and most of the cheapso gazebos now come with side panels so can keep the wind down too unless Strongy gets those bloody whatsit pasties again !! :lol: Should make for enhanced socialising, which,, as most who have camped near me will testify :msn4: is something I take fairly seriously especially the getting booolaxed bit :mrgreen:

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,Well hit me with it then, chuck a spanner in !!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
