Suitcase/Silent Generators, who has one ? Recommendations ?

Hi All,

I know they can be the ruin of a good peaceful campsite, but I want one for the longer trips where Hook up is not possible.

I want the quietest I can find & was looking at the Honda EU10/EU20, but they are quite pricey ! :shock:

I have seen the other models by Yamaha, Subaru & this one by Hyundai, looks really good, but Honda is the name everyone recommends.

Anyone any experience here ?

I've been looking out for a cheap Honda 4-stroke for a while as well. Will be interested to see what other peeps have to say...

I've got a cheap and nasty 850w one, nice and quiet and powerful enough to run the essentials, plus light enough to chuck up on the roof rack.
