I have just had to removed a damaged front shock absorber, which meant replacing both front shox.
I removed KYB Gas-a-just (KG452)......Then replaced them with KYB GR2's (eye/eye).

Went for a test ride and there didn't seem to be much difference.
The question is, will they be ok, as I noticed that the bolt fitting sleeves were slightly longer on the new shocks.
or should I again change them back to Gas-a-just.

Not sure what to do, as the van had already been slightly lowered by PO.

GR2's will be fine. They are good shocks, better than standard.

Have replaced the shocks, but doooh  , realised that the PO had also removed the bump stops...... Keep telling the boss, " it's a learning curve".

Can I get an aftermarket bump stop guide, looks like the original one has been cut off. :?:

When you lower a van most (if not all) people will cut the bump stops off to allow for the different position of the arms

It wont/shouldnt affect the height however dependant on how low your sitting it has a chance to affect the quality as the arms will be hitting the stops
