hey guys would a t25 bellhousing fit a early bay box? im doing a type4 engine conversion on my 1970 bay. im also cutting and slamming the crap out of it so converting to hydraulic clutch so this should technically crack 2 birds with 1 stone. il be running a cj code engine

thanks again

should do,best bet would be a 4speed as I think its same as late bay box so bell housing would swap.

They do indeed fit, they will use the later starter with the longer throw and I THINK that you might have issues with the input shaft being too long or too short... Too long is obviously not a problem, but too short and it'll whip around and bugger stuff up. Naturally, I can't remember which way around it goes.
