Just a quick warning to all, i have recieved a couple of calls this week from an Asian gentleman saying he was from "software maintenance" and that they thought i had a virus, he asked if my pc loaded slowly ( more then 15 secs ) i replied yes but as i am 2 miles from exchange it would, he went on about me logging on to pc and he would talk me through some tests ( i did not turn pc on) when i tried to find out further info he repeated the last part of his script, on the 1st call i hung up here, on the 2nd call i told him what i thought of him, can not repeat here, to my amazement he just continued with his script, i left phone off hook for 5 mins and then hung up, no further calls yet.

yup this is a fairly well reported scam where someone claiming to be an MS engineer will call asking for remote access to your PC, plus credit/ debit card details.
Obviously don't do either!
