I would like to thank all those that helped me in some way about advise and other things relating to the splitty i was going to buy

As it turned out it was not a solid van as described
The underneath was solid but the van sadly was not

The nose had lots of bubbling round the entire bottem behind the bumper
The cargo doors was the same
the new arches looked like they were rattle caned in (didnt match) as told
Some bubbling on the rear seems
the inside roof lining had lots of mould
Safari windows leaked as there was water stains on the dash

So again thanks to all for your help it was much needed
i didnt even get chance to get my magnet out hehe
Never mind lesson learned

The seller to be fair did refund some of my depo back so only a hundred quid down and four hours travel

Now im going to spend some money on our 68 bay where needed instead and enjoy

Hope I was of some assistance - sorry I couldnt do any more!
I wouldnt personally purchase a Splitty unless it came with a comprehensive history/build thread and was a known quantity
Sounds like you escaped an expensive restoration! :D
