Well after a good few hours on Thursday I have now got the T2D dropped spindles and coil overs fitted  They fit like a dream and after a bit of discussion with puppy about the coil overs, they are working like a dream (the trick is to run them upside down ;) from what you think 8) )

Old spindles set up with creative shocks.

The bit that took the longest was dialling in the ride height. Setting the beam and the coil overs, so it doesnt rub or bottom out. It doesnt rub now, but when fully loaded with 2 people and full camping stuff for 4 days it does a tiny rub when hard cornering, so all good. (but maybe having a cheeky 1" tub done on the arch to sort that in the future

Ta da! new even lower ride height ;)

Looking nice!

How is the ride with the coilovers and dropped spindles comparing to your old set up with the standard spindles?

I have the same setup (Transporterhaus dropped spindles + same front beam) and am going to fit those coilovers this week...

I can honestly say, with the coil overs its the best ride my van has had since its been lowered! no bouncing or wallowing around, pleasurable driving for sure 8)

Cool. Did you mount the coilovers with the og springleaves in the beam? or did you mount the red9design coilover kit?

 I will get some better photos soon 8)

Wow Easy, that's sick dude! 8)

Always loved the stance of your van, but now it's even better! 8)

But you didn't have dropped spindles before? No problems with your ball joints when driving that low only on adjusters?

OG springleaves, all fitted fine through the weedeater beam. I am not a fan of the red 9 stuff tbh but looks tasty :D

Got a meeting on Tuesday to discuss arch tubing!

i can almost not belive that...mine are dead after two years now :( ...what do i wrong... :?:
just let me dream of the same setup, but with our restrictive laws here, it's impossibel to get it leagal on the bay

the stance looks fantastic!!!

Thanks dude. It's all about how you set the beam. To prevent much wear. I preload the beam and set it under tension. It seems you get a better ride with minimal wear.
I use my bus allot and have done lots of miles on very different terrain. Restricted where I go by being a touch to low now, but that's the price you pay for the look unfortunately.

Getting the arches tubbed soon to get rid of the slight rubbing under full load and hard cornering. For me it will be finished then finally and in my eyes the best ride on a very low bay.
I think what also helps is having decent shocks all round and keeping the bus weight to a minimum particularly up front, I mean I have fibreglass bumpers, pick 2 bumpers up the next time yours are off. They are heavy buggers!
**** shocks on the rear will give you a wallow on the front that can give you a poor ride and cause excess play. Shortening the life of your ball joints etc ;)
Having said all this roads around the uk are so **** at the moment I will be back to stock height soon so I don't disapear down a hole!

Can I ask where from bud? :|

You can get them from http://www.nomorerustybits.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Very cheap and pre painted so they never have to be painted. Mine are years old from a company called bay splits! back in the day. The ones from no more rusty bits are very good quality and will last for ever. 8)

My bus 'Arnie' has fibreglass bumpers fitted by the previous owner and I have to say unless you look very carefully its hard to tell and as Ez says they seem to last quite well,
