There were a lot of changes to these vans over their whole life cycle, from split to Early through Crossovers and all through the LateBay even through the later Brazilian onesSome of these changes appeared not annually but almost monthly and were in fact slightly different from the various factories and countries and sometimes even to the point that vans headed for different destinations and countries may have had slightly different spec as would certain applications as in specialised vehicle production. Africa made their own but also imported as did Australia and maybe elsewhere. One of the gradual changes was the application of drainage holes around various areas including sills and door bottoms, some of the drainage solutions may have been aimed at certain climatic conditions as per its original destination and or purpose, a micro bus or crew bus headed for Alaska may have a few more condensation issues than a delivery van in Surfers Paradise for instance. With drainage holes , some also had holes to let the water out and holes to let some air in to aid the water getting out and to help dry out and sills were definitely on that list. Fleetlines were all on their own as were knock down versions (ckd) not WKD :mrgreen:
Another slight difference you’ll find on similar vans is the steering column brace at the top where it joins the dash, I’ve seen possibly five or more version on Earlies and crossers :mrgreen:
