Hi guys,

Does anyone know off hand the size and pitch of the tie rod nuts please? Also the front cardboard hose under the van has split, where can I get this from as it is smaller than the standard 50mm?

Many thanks,

J

Tie rod I don't know, but heater tube I did recently:

That's awesome thanks. Always forget to look on eBay! Noticed they do a cardboard tube as original and wonder if it would be more ridgid than neoprene? Thanks again

The wire spiral helps keep its shape and neoprene won't dissolve in water.

Cardboard is definitely stiffer and more original, but I suspect there's good reason why VW stopped using it under their cars :)
