Guys

Just wanted to recommend the Lite steer steering column bearing .. simple to fit, perfect fit and improved things no end!

.. and only £20 from ebay.

Even my steering wheel came off without too much fuss!

Yes bud

Steering wheel off .. spring and retainer removed and new bearing taps into top of column.

:)

Don't suppose you could tell me where in ebay to find it I can't find it just the solid brass one.

So do you remove spring? Does this bearing replace the spring?

Yes ..

Spring out and small retainer ..

Then gently tap the bearing into the top tube down to the shoulder inside ..

Just fitted my Lite Steer bearing and it is great, easy to install - once I got the steering wheel off!
I had been putting off replacing the top bearing as mine was really bad, in fAct it was knackered with loads of play!
Wish I had known about this fix a couple of years ago!
