Torsion Bar Removal

Got my bags all mounted on the rear and want to know if anyone had removed their rear torsion bars to get more movement as I'm only really getting two inches of movement and I'm not 100% comfortable it's the right thing to do?

I also wanted to do the same, I have bags on mine but would like full range of motion. Maybe someone will post

I ground down the inner splines smooth on the torsion and took half the bumpstop off. i did have a spare set to fall back on if it went tits up :lol:
