I have looked in the stances thread but seem to be going around in circles.
No pun intended.

My bus will be lowered soon, tubs, notches, adjustable spring plates etc.

I've was recomended to run with 185,65,15 rears and 165,50,15 fronts but as I want to run with my 14"steels I'll be needing different tyres (as I'm after some whitewalls)

Am I right in thinking I don't want to differ too far from my current rear sizes (185,70,14) due to engine and speedo speed?

Should I just keep my original size rears? Or will I have issues with tyre rubbing etc? How much smaller will I be able to get away with? 3% or more?

I'm clueless about tyres so any info would be grateful.

Ta, Ross.

The speedo cable picks up from the nearside front wheel so changing the front tyre profile will throw your speedo out.

Smaller profile rear tyre will cause MPG change (for the worse).
Also your engine will have to rev slightly higher and your top speed will be lower.

Some do, some dont
