Under Dash Radio Housing

I've got the original VW Emden 8 track radio in my dash and want to leave it there, but I also want to install an old Sony headunit I have lying around with an aux in for the iphone. The idea would be to make it easily removable.

I saw somewhere on here a bus with a black plastic retro looking under dash radio housing but haven't been able to find it again.

Has anyone fitted a radio using one of these housings and more importantly, how was the fit and where did you get it from?

A search on ebay only came up with one and I'm not sure it would fit under a bay dash without a bit of tweaking.
