Van is pulling to the left

Hi can any 1 shed any light before i shed some cash on this,my van is pulling the left badly and it looks like my passenger wheel is slightly of line to the drivers wheel resulting in it catching the arch,its deff not tracking some kind of worn linkage ?? also my steering wheel can be moved forward and backwards a few mil somthing loose ??....Rowan.

Jack the problematic side up a bit and wiggle the wheel, to check for play.
Then check the steering rods, ball joint boots etc..
Maybe the bearings in your flanges are shot? Take it apart and check everything for play.
