Yep can only agree with all of the above, excellent show :D

Mind you a little short of finding all I had hoped to find parts wise, but still found a few bits 'n' bobs to make the trip worth it ;) And I came home with some dosh too! :D

And the weather was just top notch, hope its like that next year when I can take my bus.

ON a real shopping and rooting about in boxes mission today but did meet Haveacamper, Loxy and i-bus so some faces to names. Good to meet you guys if only briefly. :D

No surprise that you sold it - it was a good price already but when you compared it to most of the other vans there for sale it was even more of a bargain 8)

sold my bus early

Congratulations Juan

Gracias , muchas gracias !
It was priced to sell fast as I did not wanted to worry about what was I going to do with it if it didn't.
Cheers.

Yeah a real bargain Juan, someone has had a result with your bus. My father in law was made up with his clock, guess what he's doing today!

IT was a huge show and it took me all day to rumage around in all the boxes. Surprising what you find if you look hard enough .

Loxy, get you bus done m8! hope to see you at the breeze and we can chill and chat at leisure. ;)

I really wish I could have stayed overnight but hey-ho, always next year. :D

I went yesterday and found some goodies too :D

I picked up a spare seat for my T25 for only a fiver, so well chuffed with that - It's all early and brown :D and also picked up a lockable glovebox lid for the '68 - Happy days :D

I was just there the day myself but it really did seem a good show. The weather doesnt half help tho doesnt it. Also for me I got a couple of big things of the 'wishlist' a bargain eriba pan and a westy interior

I thought it was ace :)

The organisation was spot on, everything was clean and tidy. Refitted toilets in most of the blocks and yes, superb weather!

Thanks to all the Early Bay plot campers for being cool, and leaving the pitch in such a tidy state too ;)

A big up to the organisers and gate staff for helping us overcome a minor ticket glich too. Appreciated!

EBI aside Vanfest was 'the' show of '09 for me so far.

Where were you lot? I walked around the some of the camping areas yesterday afternoon but never saw the EB plot, I would have called over to say hello. So Clem, i still owe you a couple of beers ;)

What a fantastic weekend. A great show.

Unfortunately not in the EB area, but went to take a look around and met Marcher.
Also chatted to Graham and Ib-bus on the MEB stand.

Great to meet you all.

Will post up my pictures soon.

Good show, good weather and a top weekend.

Clem can we have that plot again next year?

Big thanks again for organising it for us all :)

Cheers Clem and Paul for the steer on alloys also

Great show, great weather.

Didnt find anything I needed, my daughter was chuffed with the Hook a Duck stand!

Nice to meet Faux , Graham L and Ib Bus, roll on Brighton Breeze, with a stop over and some beers

thought the show was great. only went for the day today and got there about 12. had the family with me so didnt get around to finding any early bayers. prices of parts were a bit hit and miss, with fluctuating prices. did score a few bargains.
rear splash pans for £15
sliding door spring mech and front bumper irons £40
complete set of wheel bolts £10
pair of front hella indicators £10

new 9 inch grinder to chop my new westy roof off next weekend £20 tho im sure it will only last the day :D .

loved the t25s in the sheds, i must admit to having a real soft spot for a pimped up fire breathing t25.

I had loads of fun , talked to a lot of people including some of the organizers who showed me a 1 owner '79 UK panel van in mint condition, did buy some bits like stainless window winders from sixty six deluxe very nice and also a pair of polished aluminum louvre windows winders from MJC Imports who is also now doing a very nice wood trim steering wheel with adapter for early and late bays, I don't think I was able to walk the whole show it was way too big , I also tought it was very well organized and bathrooms were always clean. I might come back next year. It was nice to meet earlybayers and me too could not find the earlybay camping spot.
