Vintage speed exhaust wrap length?

Looking at wrapping my exhaust with exhaust tape wondering if anyone else has done it and how much they ordered.
More protection for external filter hoses and engine valance, got j tubes to do 2. Thanks in advance Ben...

I wouldn't personally, I tried exhaust wrap on a stainless header and it ruined it.
Put some protection on the oil hoses, or route them away from the exhaust.

Wrapping ss zorsts can make the metal brittle as they retain the heat, and if your bus has an oil leak even a little one it absorbs it and in turn could cause a fire on a long run :?

Righty ho thanks gents, thinking of running braided hose from oil pump to external filter as this has highest potential to contact the exhaust all the rest in usual oil graded hose with fitted ends. Ben

I ran mine along the moustache bar, they're well clear of the exhaust.
Didn't bother with braided either.

Have you just zip tied them sparky??

As a temporary measure, yes, I've got some stainless clips to fit when I remember.
