VW Panel van Advertising

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts about using their panel van for Advertising....
I work for a very famous branded company and im looking for a cash injection to help get my van restored sooner rather than later.
So i was thinking of going to the advertising dep't within the company and striking a deal with them ie getting the company logo on the van and taking it to shows ....maybe getting photo's in a few magazines etc etc.
What are your thoughts on this.....
Has anyone done this.

There was a vodafone branded split screen outside my work for about a month - wondered if it was own by them or someone enterprising who did it for for the cash....

Seems a good idea - but big high street brands will probably want to have it for events/on display e.t.c. for advertising - may be easier for a local firm or VW specialist - but they pay to put ads on petrol pumps so why not!
