WANTED - 1600cc Twin port head

Hello,
I am looking for a twin port 1600cc head. the thread for the plug has give up and i have been told its easier to put a head on. Its 1971 if that makes any difference.

If not can anyone recommend anywhere to purchase recon head complete?

I've just bought a second hand head from Volksmagic in Birmingham. It was complete but i have stripped it down and re-lapped valves etc. Only cost £45, dont know if this is good or not but it was my only option at the time and a damn site cheaper than new!

i have a pair of mint heads, as new condition really, valves and springs totally complete ready to bolt on

but only selling as a pair, but you could always sell on the other

Why not hit helicoils if the head is otherwise good.....
