Wanted: brake servo for '72 crossover

Hi there,

Mine has got a leak so I'm looking for a replacement for a RHD '72 MY bus- the German ones seem to be on back-order for an unknown amount of time at the usual places so I thought I'd see if anyone has one on here!

Would prefer new or nearly new as it's a job I'd rather not be doing again in a year or so but what have you got as I'm grounded until this gets sorted out?!

Replaced my servo in august with the brazilian with master cylinder as that was the only one available at the time....bit of faffing getting on but works great

Megabug had some due in from US but I couldn't wait & they would be the same 40 years old as my duff one

Hey mate, thanks for the tip-off- I'd been thinking of one of the brazilian ones but was waiting for someone to confirm the quality 8) Sounds good and from what I gather it just requires some fresh holes to be drilled in the mount- was there anything else? I'm petrty sure my master cylinder is Ok so the servo is even cheaper just by itself (£78) :mrgreen:

Only if you want to wait 3 weeks ......and then find out it wasn't put in the container :mrgreen:

2 days after fitting mine I went to Supernationals at Ipswich, on Pop Browns stand was a complete Servo/master cyl/fluid res/full linkage & brake pedal for £140....a posible case of VW scene tax :roll:
