Most of you have seen the bay advertised before as I bought it off here, would like to trade for another split please

1969 bay brought in from San Francisco in 2009, was rock solid and straight only needing slamming but went to new owners wanting shiny so body was prepped and painted in original colour and is still mint.
Previous owners then went on to spend a fortune on new interior, new seat belts, new upholstery we have receipts totalling £13.5k including bus purchase price.

The bus:

The work that I can remember:

£2k spent on paint and brake overall, work carried out by Volkstech in Morcombe.
£1350 on a Camper Shak interior including reupholstering front seats
New Creative Engineering adjustable rear springplates.
New exhaust
New tyres
New seat belts front and back [inertia]
New steering swivel kit
£100 for Madmatz flooring
Carburettor rebuilt
Electronic ignition
Automatic fire extinguisher in engine bay
£580 on complete new Status VW seal kit
Quick shift kit
All new wheel cylinders/shoes/master cylinder etc
Lowered 3" front and back
Fully insulated sides, roof & floor
Full set of thermo mats/screens
Gas shocks all round
Waxoiled fully underneath  but I have pictures of ultra solid chassis beforehand
MOT'd till November

There's loads more but this is what I remember other than since all the works been done they were to scared to use it so very little miles since

Had an agreed insurance value of £13.5k as this is what they spent on it, anyone up for a swap :?:

Cheers for looking/reading

Brian
