Wanted Type 2 Westy - full camping kit - help.

Been trawling the web to no avail so I appeal to this forum for help.

I am looking for a Type 2 Westy with full camping kit, and importantly a double bed up top. A rust free LHD import is fine, or a restoration RHD which has been stripped right down and is solid would be even better. I'd like the interior to be tidy / tidyish and the body work to be good - no bumpy doors or bubbles! I'll compromise here and there - so if you know of something that nearly meets the spec, don't rule it out because it isn't exact!

I would like to pay 10Kish but can creep up a bit if need be.

I am on the South Coast, but nationwide suggestions will be gratefully received.

Hi Beccy and welcome.

From the sound of things my van would meet your needs to a T.

its a 1970 Westy so67. which is 3/4 width bed downstairs. has all the westy furniture. inc sinc, coolbox, buddy seat, wardrobe, overhead locker.Also comes with original westy Cab hammock, and Double westy continetal bed in the poptop.New poptop canvass and rubbers. New window rubbers,door rubbers. very good and strong new engine about 5 years ago but not done more than 10k.overhauld brakes and steering.no welding needed underneath and clean enough to eat your dinner from.Brand new full wiring loom. Being resprayed at the mo. Seats have been retrimmed.Comes with original cooker , westy awning and handy andy toilet (believed to be another westy option) and awning light. Has ambulance fans fitted to blow cool air into cab. original paperwork from it being collected at the factory in germany.Mossie net. looking for 10995.00 ono with all the westy goodies
