U.S. only has one bulb for a red lens ;-)

as above US has one twin filament bulb (brake/tail) for an all red lens, top half is the reflector

UK has the indicator at the top so extra single filament bulb

Most folk with US buses convert the factory reverse lights to indicators to keep the original look

This is what I have done - one of my US rear lights has had a knock from the inside and broken the connectors though.

Think I'm sorted now so cheers chaps - very helpful.
