We bought a "part restored van" last year (famous last words), my partner is in the army and has been away a lot so we are only just getting around to finishing it off! It looks like the wiring loom has been home made from black and red cable. After an engine fire following a short, and numerous problems with the lights, we've decided to replace the whole loom.

It's a 71 rhd dormobile, small style back lights and moon vents rather than the crossover model. We tried to find one a bug freeze (I'm an old school bug ownerand can't get to grips with the rebranded watercooled friendly name) but had no joy. I was given rocket rons name and have spoken with him today. Unfortunately he hasn't done any early vans so needs an old loom to use as a template.

Can you suggest any other source? Or does anyone have a part/complete loom doesn't really matter what condition so Ron can use as a guide?

Many thanks,
Penny
